The women’s retailer Coast recently held a special wedding event at their flagship store on Oxford Street in London. They are one of the biggest occasion wear retailers in the U.K and offer an excellent range of fashionable dresses for bridesmaids, in addition to a capsule collection of stylish wedding dresses for the more price conscious bride. We were asked to collaborate with them and be on hand to offer one-to-one planning advice to brides and their wedding party.
We worked alongside Bloomsbury Flowers to create an inspirational table. With current trends and Coasts’ latest collections in mind, we used watercolours as our inspiration but with pops of bolder colours to create impact. The coloured glassware and charger plates were in varying tones of blue and purples, with clear Perspex chairs set on crisp white table linen which were all very kindly loaned to us by Options hire. Bloomsbury Flowers created a stunning arrangement using brightly coloured Vanda Orchids wired together in water, with the more subtle and tonal Hydrangeas working together beautifully. The stationery had a lot of comments and was designed by Rebecca Lancaster who kindly re-worked her existing design to suit the colour scheme.
Within the store was also the superb Rosalind Miller Cakes who kept the brides and their friends happy with cakes while they sipped on a glass of Champagne. There was also the opportunity for the girls to have mini makeovers with the Elizabeth Arden and Return to Glory and photographer Sarah Sevant from SND Photography was working hard to capture the days’ events.
A big thank-you to the team at Coast who made us all very very welcome!
