Our Consultancy service is designed for clients who wish to plan the majority of their special event themselves but feel they could benefit from some professional support

This service has been born out of the COVID19 situation where wedding couples in particular have seen the value in having a planner work alongside them, especially when things have gone wrong. It has been designed for clients who wish to plan the majority of their special event themselves but feel they could benefit from some professional support.

It also provides an excellent support service for those clients who are planning smaller events and consequently have smaller budgets so perhaps don’t feel they can justify the cost of our comprehensive planning service.

You’re able to tap into Melanie’s 15 years’ worth of knowledge and expertise to discuss and consult us on any aspect of the planning process.  Some examples of what this could include are:

  • Reviewing an existing budget plan to ascertain if it is realistic to achieve your vision
  • We can create or review a personalised timeline plan for you to ensure you don’t forget anything and are able to enjoy the planning process at the correct pace
  • If you wish to source the majority of suppliers yourself but are struggling to find something in particular, then you can tap into our network for a recommendation
  • You may want to discuss quotations you have received and ascertain if they’re good value
  • Ask our advice as to how you could save money and maximise your budget
  • Perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed by Pinterest and Instagram and you’d like creative inspiration and ideas as to how to make your wedding, or event stand out from the crowd
  • You need support in putting together a detailed schedule for the event day itself
  • You want to discuss your plans to date to check you haven’t forgotten something
  • You’d like clarification on wedding etiquette and tradition and how this applies to modern day celebrations
  • Utilise our experience and knowledge as how to create a real experience for you and your guests, whatever your budget

These are just a few examples of what you may need support and guidance on, however it’s likely that there will be many occasions during your planning journey where you wish you had a professional you could call on for advice and support.

This service is based on consultation calls and emails, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours and these can be split into blocks if required.  Should you require a face to face meeting, then this can be arranged for an additional fee.
