Photoshoot at the Langham in London

As wedding planners in London, from time to time we like to collaborate with a team of fabulous people to work on an inspirational photo shoot. Recently we did just that at the luxury hotel – The Langham, London. The private dining room provided the starting point for the styling, and the inspiration then grew around the idea ‘Smoke & Mirrors’. The focus was on the table set up and the details such as the cake, stationery, reception drinks, accessories and flowers. We used a colour palette of different tones of pink mixed with pewter and silver and included some quirky touches. The Langham provides a super wedding venue with a large outside terrace, however the Postillion dining room can be used for intimate pre-wedding parties or other celebrations for up to 35 people. The Langham team loved the end result so much they’ve decided to use it in their marketing campaign on their website, details to follow!

We worked with a brilliant team of people – Brian from Brian Kirkby Flowers created the stunning floral arrangements around tall and elegant crystal candelabras. At the foot of each one were a tightly packed dome of roses, with smaller arrangements, candles and votives adding a feminine touch and a warm glow. Mirrored place settings and silver-rimmed glassware were alongside more quirky touches such as silver rabbits, keys and cut-crystal perfume bottles.
